Public relations/communications planning and evaluation

A solid communications plan is based on an understanding of:

  1. Client business goals
  2. Target audience wants, needs, expectations and media habits
  3. The external business environment, including competition and relevant trends and issues

Drawing on my years of experience in communications research, I help my clients understand all these factors and integrate responses to them into a cohesive communications plan that supports achieving business goals.

Content strategy and development

I write content for web pages, Blogs, newsletters and virtually any other medium. My specialty is copy on business, technical and scientific topics.

Stakeholder relationship assessment and management

Many clients now recognize the success of their organizations is dependent on developing and managing positive relationships with customers, shareholders, employees, communities and other key stakeholders. Using the Grunig-Hon framework, I assess the strength of relationships between organizations and their stakeholders on six factors and provide policy and communications recommendations for improving them.
